There are 14 traditional campgrounds in the area offering camping spaces reserved for both tents and recreational vehicles. Most camping spaces are along the shores of Lake Dillon in two maintained campgrounds. Spaces fill quickly and reservations are required, sometimes weeks in advance for summer weekends and the entire month of August.

Not all campgrounds take reservations, however the following do:

  • Heaton Bay with 72 spaces
  • Lowry Campground with 29 spaces
  • Peak One Campground with 79 spaces
  • Prospector Campground with 109 spaces

Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-444-6777 or online at ReserveUSA.com.

Tiger Run Resort operates on a nightly basis, 365 days a year. They are designed to accommodate RVs that are totally self-contained. By definition, this means your RV must be able to hook up to their water and sewer system. Sorry, they do not allow pop-up campers, tent trailers, or tents.

See www.tigerrunresort.com Features & Rates page for specific RV site information or call (800) 895-9594.
